Welcome
The Center for Public Policy & Political Studies is an innovative program created to enable ACC students to gain practical experience in learning how government policies are created and executed, and to improve communications between public entities and the people they serve.

The Center, a non-partisan and externally funded non-profit organization, is the first of its kind to be established at a community college, and yet another example of ACC’s responsiveness to central Texas students’ needs.

The Center appreciates all of the supporters of its successful October 16, 2008 fall fundraiser with Matthew Dowd.  We look forward to seeing old and new friends at  this year's program.  The benefit is on October 22, 2009, at the new AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, with its "rare combination of advanced technology and sophisticated hospitality."  Please click here for more information about the event, and ways to receive a special invitation.
Through non-partisan research we promote a better understanding of the public policy process and electoral behavior patterns.
With positive, hands-on exposure to the political process, we are cultivating the next generation of civic leaders.
Experienced, passionate and bi-partisan best describes the impressive team guiding the vision and execution of our mission.
The Center does not operate within an academic vacuum. We seek out strategic partnerships with community stakeholders.
