Join ACC's Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS) at its spring fundraiser, "Building Tomorrow's Leaders," on May 7, 2010 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at the AT&T, Executive Education and Conference Center, 1900 University Avenue, featuring special guest former Senior White House correspondent for Newsweek Richard Wolffe. Sponsorships will be available for purchase with proceeds going to the CPPPS. Please contact Susan Shaw at susan@pendulumconsult.com, or 512.394.7683, for more information.

The Center for Public Policy & Political Studies is an innovative program created to enable ACC students to gain practical experience in learning how government policies are created and executed, and to improve communications between public entities and the people they serve.

The Center, a non-partisan and externally funded non-profit organization, is the first of its kind to be established at a community college, and yet another example of ACC’s responsiveness to central Texas students’ needs.

Follow us on

Through non-partisan research we promote a better understanding of the public policy process and electoral behavior patterns.
With positive, hands-on exposure to the political process, we are cultivating the next generation of civic leaders.
Experienced, passionate and bi-partisan best describes the impressive team guiding the vision and execution of our mission.
The Center does not operate within an academic vacuum. We seek out strategic partnerships with community stakeholders.
